Learning Should Be Fun!

Fun and play can increase retention and introduce new concepts

We've all been there. We are assigned a training, we show up in the conference room or log-in to the online module, we sit and listen to a talking head, maybe watch a presentation, take a quiz, get a certificate and leave/log out retaining little and feeling like your time was wasted.

I believe it doesn't need to be this way! Learning should be fun!

  1. Humor activates the brain's dopamine reward system, stimulating goal-oriented motivation and long-term memory, which means that humor can improve retention in students of all ages.
  2. At work, play has been found to speed up learning, enhance productivity and increase job satisfaction.
